Metcalfe XS220 Slicing Machine
The XS range of slicing machines are made from galvanised aluminium, gear driven and feature truly innovative characteristics. This range has endeavoured to eliminate any maintenance of the machine, simplify all the stages of cleaning as far as possible and guarantee the high quality slicing of bread, cheese, cold meats and vegetables using just a single blade. The machines and protected by two international patents and are manufactured according to the EN and CE standards.
Product features:
* The slice of bread, cheese, cold meat or vegetable falls directly onto the tray or serving plate without breaking, making it quicker and easier to prerare dishes.
* A special temperatured and chromium-plated steel blade with several patented grooves permit the efficient and high-quality cutting of cheese, bread, cold meats and vegetables.
* The sharpening accessory supplied enables the blade to be kept sharp, ensuring that the cut is always perfect.
* A fixed ring around the blade and a carriage release device locks the slice thickness adjustment surface in the 'O' position, which is the only position in which the table can be removed.
* A reset switch the complies with the current regulatiojns is featured as standard.
* A special brush that enables the safe cleaning of even the most difficult parts is supplied.
* The patented table slides on stainless steel bearings and is completely removable. The sliding system has enabled us to eliminate the lubrication of the sliding parts; the motror features a geared drive so tightening of the belt is not necessary as with traditional belt drive slicers.
