Boiler tops come in several different sizes and configurations. You can buy a standard two-burner or a six-plate gas boiling top. You also need to consider the configuration you need because different models use varying burner sizes. Gas hobs offers instant heat and allow you to monitor the temperature visually, which is not possible with electric hobs. Gas hobs are also slightly cheaper than electric ones. Electric hobs, on the other hand, are easier to keep clean, shaving time off of the cleaning process.
