Precise specifications vary among the different models, but as an approximate guide your double basket fryer will have a capacity of between 24 and 30 litres. Some will have two baskets in one tank, whilst others will have two separate tanks with individual controls. The very largest models will allow you to produce an incredible 64kg of chips per hour - perfect for busy kitchens.
